Loved staying at Joyful Bungalow! Location was perfect and sunsets were unmatched. Well equipped kitchen and updated appliances. Loved the covered outdoor areas for shade and easy access to the beach. We will be back!

BEAUTIFUL OASIS This beach front home is perfect for any group!! The house itself is unbelievably spacious, extremely well decorated, and comfortable for the entire family! The beach access makes you feel like you’re not even in FL. The beach feels essentially private and the sunsets are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen! Would stay again! 10/10

Best Family Vacay Ever We had a blas at Joyful Bungalow! The style is absolutely impeccable and the residence is so well stocked. We loved the direct access to the beach and gorgeous beach front views. The downstairs patio was my toddler’s favorite place to play in his inflatable kiddie pool in the shade! We loved riding our bikes, scalloping, and eating ALLLL the yummy food this area has to offer! I can’t imagine a better vacation spot!

AMAZING!!! This sweet little house is PERFECT for a family getaway. The house is well stocked with linens, cooking utensils, pots/pans, etc! The beds are very comfortable, the house is immaculately clean, and the views are impeccable. You can’t beat it!

More than 20 years ago, Jill, Kevin and their four sons began visiting the Florida Panhandle and fell in love with the white sandy beaches. So much in fact, they purchased 2 condos at the Splash Resort in Panama City Beach. Jill began to find every excuse she could to book a stay to change the linens, buy new furniture or complete an entire remodel at 2103W or 105W Splash.

But the condos became so popular for our guest rentals, Jill could never get her turn.

So we ventured a little further South and found Cape San Blas, which is known as “The Forgotten Coast” for its quiet secluded setting and is the last remaining stretch of unspoiled, pristine Gulf Coast beaches.

In January of 2022, Jill’s prayers were answered as we found the beach house we have now named the “Joyful Bungalow”. The search for this treasure began with inspiration from Dante Bowen’s song “Joyful” and scripture from Psalms 118:24 “This is the day that the Lord has Made, I will REJOICE and be glad in it”

The Guthrie Family and some great friends worked over the next four months to create a complete transformation of this beach house into a mid-century modern beach bungalow with a retro-vibe and color theme you won’t forget. Words can’t describe it, so be sure to check out the pictures.
